Joining TBM Professional Development Workgroups
Professional workgroups provide a unique opportunity for global technology leaders and TBM Council partners to collaborate among like-minded IT professionals. During the TBM Council’s professional workgroups, IT peers gather – virtually and sometimes in person – to share ideas around thought leadership, frameworks, competency models, research, industry-specific TBM taxonomies, and other TBM-related topics. The goal is to advance the IT profession and promote TBM adoption worldwide. Workgroup meetings include presentations and discussions of workgroup deliverables, including taxonomy extensions, TBM-related achievements, lessons learned, and best practices from workgroup members. These workgroup meetings provide a terrific opportunity to learn collectively from peer experiences.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are less formal than workgroups. They are designed to foster conversations and knowledge sharing, but not to develop content. SIGs may evolve into Workgroups.
