Rhonda Gass is Vice President (VP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Stanley Black & Decker. She was appointed to this position in September 2012.
As CIO, Gass is driving a strategic agenda that will equip the company’s businesses with the digital, data and collaboration capabilities required to win and grow in the global marketplace.
Gass is a leader in the Women’s Network Employee Resource Group, and she was integral in bringing in Workplace by Facebook, the communication and collaboration tool used by the company’s tens of thousands of employees around the world.
Gass is on the Board of Directors for Flowers Foods, one of the largest producers of packaged bakery foods in the United States. She also serves on the Technology Business Management (TBM) Council board, a nonprofit organization which strives to advance the discipline of IT. Additionally, Gass serves on the Board of Trustees for the Connecticut Science Center, which is dedicated to inspiring lifelong learning through science and endeavoring to create a workforce equipped for jobs in the science-related fields.
